I don’t want to spoil any of the adventure or uniqueness of the novel, but suffice it to say, it is about the choices we make, how they affect future generations, and the glorious yet sometimes messy struggles of life and death.
This is truly a novel that has to be read to be appreciated and understood. It is a great example of what a book should do – let the reader escape to another time and place.
