How strange it must be to age quicker than your friends. I came across a report about the health problems of players who were on the roster of the 1979 Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team, and the words of two of the interviewees struck me. One hulking player noted that friends of a similar age who did not play football do not encounter the same struggles with their physical well-being. Another lamented that while his friends play tennis and bicycle, he is unable to.  But given that they supposedly love the sport, I have to wonder if they feel it was worth it.
