There’s something so raw about a senior DJ and 70-year-old Ruth Flowers is the worlds leading example. The British retiree got hooked on electronic music after going to a nightclub with her grandson according to her website www.mamyrock.com. Shortly thereafter she hooked up with French producer Aurelien Simon who helped the novice launch her DJ career. She’s been touring the European club circuit ever since. Her first EP is titled Mammy Rock and her latest single Still Rocking was released in July, 2010. No word yet of a North American tour, but our fingers are crossed.
