Surrounded by her four children in a Los Angeles hospital, Elizabeth Taylor died today at the age of 79.
Taylor didn’t go without a fight—she suffered from congestive heart failure and was hospitalized many times up until her final days, but she will not be remembered for her ailing health. Instead, Elizabeth Taylor will go down in history as one of the classiest women to ever grace the silver screen and I’m loathe to say there may not be another like her.
