Lester’s Army is a bi-annual publication. The deadline to submit for our next issue, “The Women’s Issue”, is August 1st. We are accepting submissions for our online magazine on an ongoing basis. Before you submit, please take a minute to browse our website, read our mandate and get an idea of the kind of submissions we are looking for.

Most of our contributors are under the age of 30 or over the age of 65, to fit with our mandate, however we accept submissions from people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience.

We accept fiction, literary non-fiction, memoir, poetry, art and illustration. Fiction, non-fiction and memoir submissions should be 1500-2000 words, although we accept larger submissions on a case-by-case basis. All submissions should be typed, double spaced and include the author’s name, contact information and word count. Submissions should be written in Microsoft Word and sent as email attachments.
